The InVentry Checkpoint Door Access system provides a seamless way to manage and control entry points using QR code scanning via the Passport app.

Checkpoint System Preparation

There are a number of ways in which InVentry Checkpoint can be configured with your InVentry System to allow for the scanning of a QR code within the Passport app:

Set As Arrived

The ability to set an arrival status in InVentry, which sends a message to their host. Available for booked visitors and non-staff.

Sign In

The ability to sign in and sign out. Available for staff, non-staff, booked non-staff and Pupils.

Door-Release

The ability to release doors when controlled via Paxton Net2, Almas Optima and Suprema Access Control. Available for staff, non-staff, visitor, booked non-staff, booked visitor and pupils.

Technical Requirements for Checkpoint System Preparation

To enable your InVentry system to integrate with Checkpoint, you will need to meet the following technical pre-requisites:

  • InVentry version is V4 upwards,
  • Door Access Integration configured with InVentry (if door release function is required),
  • Valid InVentry Anywhere licence,
  • Valid Door Access licence, if door release function is required) – license required per door,
  • InVentry and Door Access provider must be on the same network with two-way communication (if door release function is required).
  • Power source (single plug socket/POE) is available for the Checkpoint device.
