The Client
Established in 1910, Thompson Commercials offer high-quality new and used Renault trucks and are dedicated to building superior fleets. They strive to build successful and lasting relationships and are committed to keeping their customers on the road as the UK’s leading independent Renault Trucks dealership – resulting in their growth to over 220 employees across 7 different locations.
The Challenge
Thompsons were looking for a sustainable solution which would enable door access, give them the ability to track staff working hours and manage any on-site contractors. They required a customised system that also allowed their staff, customers, and visitors to feel protected in the knowledge that they knew exactly who was signed in across all 8 sites, in case of an emergency evacuation.
The Solution
After being recommended to InVentry, the staff members at Thompsons were keen for an on-site meeting to discuss their specific requirements with one of our Account Managers. Once they had seen the system live in action, they knew it was the perfect fit for all 8 of their sites.
With over 220 staff members across multiple sites, Thompson Commercials now knows which staff members are signed in and where. By collecting accurate sign in data for staff members, visitors, and contractors they can now monitor on-site arrivals ensuring that everyone is easily identifiable and accountable in the event of an emergency evacuation.
