InVentry helps Oakfield Community (Easton Maudit) with a professional, seamless sign in system

Oakfield Community (Easton Maudit) – a care home for adults with learning disabilities – offers a high standard of care for each of their residents in order to help them reach their optimum level of independence and happiness. They strive to maintain the dignity, individuality and privacy of all the people they support within a warm and homely atmosphere – as well as being sensitive of their ever-changing needs.

The Challenge

Oakfield (Easton Maudit) needed a professional sign in system to tackle a range of issues they were facing around visitor, contractor and staff management. In particular, they were looking for a solution that would enable a secure and GDPR compliant sign in process – whilst also providing a great first impression within their reception area. They were also looking to improve efficiencies around monitoring staff attendance and reporting, as well as working hours which would ultimately feed into their payroll information. In addition, Oakfield wanted to improve their fire evacuation management, requiring a solution that was quick, easy and sped up their existing safety processes.

The Solution

From resident safety to contractor management, InVentry provided Oakfield Community with a comprehensive solution that addressed the care home’s concerns through one system. By collecting accurate sign in data for staff members and contractors across their building, Oakfield can now monitor onsite arrivals which has given them the ability to record staff attendance as well as generate customised reports on working hours. With this information being easy to access through the InVentry console, the care home can see which staff members are on site in real time.

Fire evacuations have also significantly improved through the use of the InVentry Anywhere App; enabling Oakfield to not only safely check people in as they reach the fire evacuation point with peace of mind knowing their data is accurate – but they are also now able to see detailed reporting on each evacuation, allowing them to improve each time. Creating a homely environment for residents has always been a top priority for Oakfield Community, so having the ability to send automated feedback surveys directly to visitors including family members of residents was a welcome addition for the care home. This has provided Oakfield with the opportunity to listen to and action visitor feedback whilst reducing the administrative tasks associated with this for their team. Overall, Oakfield have been extremely happy with InVentry, from the first demonstration right the way through to implementation.
