InVentry launch internal coffee roulette

It’s been an exciting time at InVentry HQ with the office move and our latest delivery of a pool table and electronic darts board. We know, very fancy! We want the new space to be vibrant, fun and most of all just a great place for people to come to work every day. As we’ve grown over the years, we’ve tried our hardest to make sure every team is integrated and known within the office. With the office move (and new three storey building) we’ve taken the opportunity to launch ‘coffee roulette’. This is to make sure we keep integrating and understanding the different roles within our business.

So, what is coffee roulette?

Internal recruitment

The clue is in the name! It’s a roulette board, managed by our internal HR team, which chooses two random departments to get to know each other every week. One person from each department is consequently chosen and they spend half an hour getting to know each other on a date that suits them.

We’re not just limited to a coffee during this time – as the name would suggest. Instead we’ve had people choose lots of different team building activities including a breakfast snack and chat in our brand-new kitchen! Games of pool and Mario cart in our new games area (healthy competition was definitely encouraged) or simply a trip out to our local Starbucks to get to know each other in a setting outside of work.
