We did it! Take a look at what we got up to in our biggest challenge yet!

For the past 7 weeks, the InVentry team have been taking on some tough challenges to help raise money for the Motor Neurone Disease Association (MNDA), a charity which is extremely close to our hearts. We’re thrilled to say that not only did we complete all 7 challenges, but we’ve exceeded our target! We’ve managed to raise a whopping £1,970 and we couldn’t be prouder!

From collectively cycling 840 miles, to a gruelling 7-hour fitness class, through to our 22 mile hike from Ilkley to Leeds, the InVentry team have been dedicated to raising as much money as we can for such an amazing charity. Take a look at what we got up to below!

Week 1

We challenged ourselves to 7,000 steps a day for 7 days and we really hit the ground running with a total of 1,738,350 recorded steps taken that week!

Week 2

Week 2 saw us set up some bikes at the office so our team could collectively cycle 840 miles – and we absolutely smashed it!

Week 3

On the 8th of February we hosted our very own InVentry 5-a-side Football league. It was great to see everyone’s competitive nature and determination to get involved.

Week 4

Halfway through our 7 in 7 challenge, and what a way to push ourselves even further with a 7-hour workout!

Week 5

We challenged ourselves to completing 70 reps of exercise for 7 days running – from sit ups at home to squeezing in some squats during a football game – we were determined.

Week 6

On the 1st of March, we hosted a very competitive rugby league and despite the rain, it was another great team effort!

Week 7

The final week of our 7 in 7 challenge was our most gruelling – a 22-mile hike from Ilkley to Leeds, despite the snow! Not only was this an immense physical challenge, but a mental battle too – but the team absolutely smashed it in under 9 hours and we couldn’t be prouder!

We’ve had a tough 7 weeks taking on this challenge, but it’s nothing compared to those facing Motor Neurone Disease. Our fundraising efforts will go towards the incredible services that MNDA can offer to help make a real difference to those with MND, along with supporting their vital research to provide hope for the future.
