Barcode
InVentry’s ID barcode scanners verify a person’s identity by reading the encoded information from a 2D barcode on their ID card and comparing it to an access list or database.
QR Code
Our ID card system using QR codes verifies a person’s identity by scanning the QR code on their ID card, which contains encoded information that is compared to an access list or database.
Paxton
When someone swipes their card, the InVentry reader transmits the encoded information to the Paxton system, which verifies the person’s identity and grants access if authorised.
HID
When an ID card, with an embedded RFID chip, is presented to one of our ID card readers, the reader emits a radio signal that activates the chip, which transmits its unique ID to the reader. The reader then verifies the ID against an access control system’s database to grant or deny access.
MIFARE
MIFARE systems use contactless smart cards with embedded microchips. When a person presents their card to the ID card system , the reader transmits data to the card and back, verifying the person’s identity and granting access if authorised.
Fingerprint
When someone wants to sign in, they place their finger on the scanner which captures their fingerprint and compares it to stored templates. If there’s a match, the system verifies the person’s identity and grants them access.
