In May we introduced Access Invitations, which work alongside our existing Paxton integration. These allow you to exercise close control over who can access your property. Visitors can be restricted to a single entrance door (or parking barrier) ensuring you’re not exposing yourself—or your employees—to unnecessary risk.
Pre-booked visitors will also receive an Access Invitation with an embedded secure link. These invitations can include time restrictions, whether your visitors are on-site for hours or days. More generally, they save your reception staff time, since they’re not going out of their way to let people in anymore.
More recently, we’ve made some tweaks to our invitations so they’re a little more user-friendly. You can add Google Maps integration if you need to provide directions, and personal details for the host (like a photo and contact details). You can also enclose organisational documents (like health policies) and send appointment reminders before someone arrives on-site.
Remote Worker Sign In
Remote working is one of the most dramatic shifts in our working practices. That’s why, later in May, we brought forward the launch of our remote worker sign-in feature. It allows employees to sign into InVentry while working from home; the app then shows where people are working. It’s the perfect choice for any businesses who’ve adopted a hybrid approach to working, especially since many workers continue to work from home long-term.
