An exciting opportunity has arisen for maternity cover for Senior People Support to join our team reporting to Head of People. We are looking for someone who can work in a fast paced environment and isn’t afraid to roll their sleeves rolled up and get the job done.

Your Role

As our Senior People Support your main duties are:

  • Providing first line advice to employees and managers on a range of policies, procedures and legislation, escalating to the Head of People where required
  • Organising and maintaining personal files, preparing HR documents and ensuring correct documentation is updated on the HR management system (Breathe)
  • Working on the administration, outputs, and action elements with grievances and disciplinaries
  • Developing and Implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, equal opportunities, disciplinary and absence management
  • Working effectively with departments across the business to ensure adherence to policies
  • Monitoring and updating people processes and the company handbook to ensure they are line with business needs and legal changes
  • Ensuring the business is fully compliant with health and safety requirements, and to be proactive with any issues or concerns that arise
  • Processing and managing payroll
