We are recruiting for an Implementations Support & Configuration Technician to join the InVentry Dream Team. Department: Implementations
The position provides our engineering team with onsite technical support, helping the team to solve problems when completing visits. It will also consist of completing both pre and post installation support tasks, in the form of configuration and post install tickets. Overall ensuring that all customers have a successful implementation of a new product or service.
Main Duties
As our Implementations Support & Configuration Technician, you’ll be responsible for:
Pre-Installation System Configuration
- In line with our projects team and processes, you will assist with the set up and configuration of all new customer equipment. This will involve following the implementation works carried out by the project manager and will then configure customers equipment to these specifications
- Will manage the creation of customers equipment licenses
- Will create/ set up signing in screens for sales/ marketing corporate events
- Will carry out fault finding on returned customer equipment and will create a diagnostic report. This will include taking the equipment apart and re-assembling it once the diagnostics has been complete
- Monitoring the Engineer Support chat and providing quick responses to Engineers queries
- Remotely connecting to a customer’s system to assist an Engineer who is unable to resolve a query
Post-Implementation Support Tickets
- Managing outstanding installation tickets.
- Completing all required outstanding installation support
New Software Installations & Changes
You will be responsible for the remote installation/ configuration of:
- New MIS Integration Customers
- MIS Changes
- Paxton Integrationa
- Server Migrations
- V4 Remote Upgrades
- InVentry Central Installations
You will need to manage this workload effectively and all work will need completing in a timely manner. In addition to this, your role will include adhoc duties when required to support the wider implementations team.
Required Skills
The ideal candidate will have the following:
- Experience working in an support technician role
- Have a good knowledge of Zendesk/ how to use Zendesk
- Must have a good overall ‘IT’ knowledge, specifically a good knowledge of Microsoft Windows
- Must have a good knowledge working with Windows networking, specifically fault-finding network related issues
