THE CLIENT

White Woods Primary Academy Trust is dedicated to delivering outstanding teaching and learning to all their students, regardless of background or ability. Established in 2013, with thirteen schools throughout Rotherham, South Yorkshire, they aim to work together in partnership to offer the best possible educational experience to all children in their local community.

THE CHALLENGE

Andy Blatch, Trust IT Manager, wanted a central sign in system which would ensure that staff members could easily roam between all thirteen schools, whilst allowing them to easily track who is on which site; guaranteeing that they uphold outstanding safeguarding practices.

The MAT also required a consistent system which allowed staff and visitors to sign in effortlessly during their events and training days.

THE SOLUTION

Glowing recommendations of InVentry’s primary school visitor management software, along with previous experience of using the system, ensured that the staff members of White Woods Primary Academy knew it was the right solution for the full trust.

Developed with flexibility in mind, InVentry Central provided the trust with an exceptional overview of who is at which site, at any given time. This now facilitates selected staff members to roam between their schools for headteacher events and training days. Personnel files are instantly pulled down from InVentry Cloud meaning they’re automatically recognised as a staff member within the trust, and any new staff members are instantly synced site wide.

For White Woods Primary Academy, safeguarding was of the utmost importance which is why they’ve fully utilised features such as our late pupil sign in, early leaver sign out and trip management to ensure they know where their pupils are at all times.

For an extra safeguarding element, the Trust use colour-coded lanyards to differentiate between their tiered staff members and visitors; meaning they’re clearly identified and recognised around site and in the case a fire evacuation.
