The Challenge

The Trafford Centre has several meeting rooms of various sizes, but since opening in 1998, they’ve lacked a digital booking system which allowed them to fully utilise their workspaces and enable both staff and retailers to easily book a meeting room suitable for their requirements.

The Solution

InVentry provided the Trafford Centre with six Space Bookings devices which are now displayed outside each of their meeting rooms; allowing them to grab spaces on the go and fully utilise their workplace, whilst ensuring that their business is professionally prepared when their staff members or brand partners are looking for a space to collaborate.

The Space Bookings software has enabled staff members and visiting brand partners to quickly and efficiently book the spaces they need by easily identifying which rooms are available via the colour-coded interface. With Simon Layton commenting, “having the screens displayed outside each meeting room is really helpful for identifying which rooms are available for any last-minute meetings as you can clearly see which rooms are booked or have meetings coming up. The quick-book feature is especially useful as it allows our staff members to conveniently grab a room for quick catchups – the feedback from our staff has been great!”

Alongside the room booking software, Trafford Centre has also utilised our sign in and visitor management system which has effectively contributed to their professional environment and enabled them to offer a proficient sign in process. With Simon Layton stating, “Our retailers and brand partners have been able to quickly sign in and head straight to their meeting without having to contact a member of Trafford Centre staff, which has completely streamlined their visit and proved to be time efficient for all!”
