InVentry support Ann Edwards Primary School with their Library Bus project

Ann Edwards Church of England Primary School have recently installed a new IT suite for their staff and pupils. This exciting new addition will replace their in-house library facilities. Understanding the importance of this existing facility and the positive impact reading has on children – including building self-confidence and general independence as well as improving writing, spelling, punctuation and English grammar – Ann Edwards decided to be creative in their solution; offering a Library Bus. In order to fund this new adventure, Ann Edwards looked to various sponsors, including InVentry, to make sure the bus was a huge success.

Ann Edwards are currently in the process of renovating the bus and our sponsorship will help cover these costs. Over the past few weeks the upper floor has been completely stripped out encompassing new seats and shelving. As you can see from the photos the ground floor has also been kept in its original seating state, with some areas stripped out ready for custom fitted shelving.

When speaking to Kevin Parker, School Business Manager, he commented “this has been such an exciting project for us here at Ann Edwards and we’re delighted with InVentry’s sponsorship – thank you very much! The bus, and new IT suite, are really going to make a difference to our school.”

When speaking to their InVentry Account Manager, Billy Hambling, he also commented “InVentry like to give back to the community and this project is no different. It’s exciting to be involved at such early stages too, we’ve been involved right from the beginning when purchasing the bus and we’ll get to see it go live and benefit so many children.”

The renovation is due to be completed over the next few weeks. Keep an eye on our social channels for updates and to see the final product.
