Meet our Support Coordinator; Charlotte Fastenbauer
It’s time for InVentry Insights. This time we’re talking to the lovely Charlotte Fastenbauer. She’s part of our technical support team and helps with all the support questions you may have! Support are the busiest during September and October, with many schools going back and getting used to using their systems again after the school holidays, so Charlotte managed to take some time out to answer some questions for us! Let’s get to know her a little better…
When did you start at InVentry?
I started at InVentry in August 2019! It feels like it’s been longer than that!
It can feel like that sometimes! So, what do you like about InVentry?
I like how welcoming all my colleagues were when I’ve started and the friendly atmosphere from everyone, even if you’ve never met them before. Everyone just gets on so well, it’s like one big happy family!
We are a friendly bunch! What does day to day look like in your role?
No day in Support is the same! My job is to manage a team of technicians and their workload, making sure all customers queries are answered in a timely manner with the best possible customer service. I speak directly with customers if they have any concerns and oversee any escalations. September is the busiest time for Support so managing the demand is very important.
I bet you’re super busy at the moment. Time for a throwback, what was your first ever job role?
Before InVentry I worked in the Hospitality industry for 7 years! Specifically, in hotels doing waitressing and reservations. I’m used to working with the public so speaking to people everyday is something I really enjoy!
Describe the team at InVentry in 3 words.
Funny, Friendly and Hardworking
A bit of fun now, what is your karaoke song?
I love a bit of karaoke, my go-to songs are usually Mardy Bum by the Artic Monkeys or anything Amy Winehouse!
Great choice! What is your go-to work lunch?
Pasta, you can never have too much pasta!
We LOVE pasta. What do you do in your free time?
I love spending time with my friends and family. Whenever I can, I go to visit my parents in Hertfordshire – which has been difficult at the moment during the pandemic but I can’t wait to get back down and see them!
Family time is great! Tell us one fact people might not know about you.
My surname is from Austria. My Grandad has lived here since he was a teenager. I often get asked where it’s from and how to spell it!!
